Description Basic Invoice Template
The image really speaks for itself. At its core, this is just a simple invoice. If this is too simple for you, the next step would be to use the billing invoice template, which has the same design but includes a few more features.
This template only has one formula: the SUM formula, which is used to calculate the total. However, this does not preclude you from using additional formulas if desired. For example, in the Amount column, enter =5*75 to calculate the amount to charge for 5 hours at $75/hour.
TIP: To make a receipt with this template, simply replace the word INVOICE in the header with RECEIPT. You can also add a note below the Total that says "Paid in full," or, as in the simple receipt example, a text box that says "Paid." If you are want to mail the receipt you can just write (by hand) a note like "Paid. Thank you very much! "on the application
